Roger Revak has had a variety of careers. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force, eight years working in an iron ore mine, and eighteen years working in commercial banking, including the position of vice president. When Roger was thirty years old, he was laid off from his blue-collar job in the iron ore mine at the same time his daughter was born. When he was thirty-four years old, he graduated from college magna cum laude with a double major in accounting and finance. When he was forty years old, he learned he had a large brain tumor. Determined to share what he learned from his experience with others, Roger joined Toastmasters and placed in the top three in five state-level Toastmasters speech contests. Roger Revak is a professional speaker who shows individuals and organizations how to turn a difficult situation into a positive one. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
