Book Submission Information
Here is our process.

- We review your mini proposal
- We offer you feedback, at no charge to you
Equity publishing is the alternative to self-publishing for those who want their book in print as soon as possible while they retain all rights and retain all profits from sales. Many publishers pretend to "pay" royalties to authors on books the authors have already paid to publish. That doesn't make sense to us. If you paid to publish your book, you own those books and should keep all the profits from sales, not a small percentage we call "royalties."
Our authors submit their book proposal or manuscript for publication cConsideration. If the submission does not meet our selection criteria, the author has several options:
- Withdraw the submission and self-publish.
- Withdraw the submission and work with a subsidy or vanity publisher.
- Withdraw the submission and rework the manuscript for future consideration.
To increase the possibility of becoming an Expert Publishing, Inc. author, consider these questions before submitting your manuscript.
- Is your manuscript far enough along to submit for consideration? (We look at content, grammar, sentence structure, original work, etc.)
- Who do you envision will buy your book?
- What do you anticipate your book will look like? (Think about size, color, etc.)
- How long is your book?
- What additions, such as photos, cartoons, or graphics, do you anticipate you’ll include? (If you didn’t originate these, you may need copyright permission to use them).
- How many copies do you want? (Consider sales and promotion to book reviewers, etc. too.)
- How soon do you want your finished book? (This will impact your project timeline.)
- Which fits your needs better, hard cover or paperback?
- What collateral materials would you like? (Audio, CD, bookmarks, postcards, marketing brochures, etc.)
- What’s stopping you from calling Expert Publishing, Inc.?
